Grackles Everywhere

First championed by the Aztec emperor Auitztol, who relocated young grackles from the Central American lowlands to Mexico City, these raccoons with wings won hearts in urban Austin and are the city's unofficial bird mascot thanks to their chatty, inquisitive dominance of the concrete hardscape. Made from an Independence Brewing Austin Amber can, these playful kite-shaped earrings measure approximately 0.6 x 0.8 inches (1.4 x 2.1 cm).
